Aspire Placement Exam Registration
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION FOR PEORIA NOTRE DAME CLASS OF 2019
Your first step in the enrollment process is to register for the ASPIRE Placement Exam (ASPIRE in an ACT accredited test previously known as the EXPLORE).
The ACT-imposed deadline of September 12th has passed. ACT will no longer guarantee that materials for testing will be available for your child for the November 1st test date. PND will make every effort on your behalf to get those materials delivered. If those materials will not be available for the November 1st date, PND will notify you, refund your fee (minus any late processing fees PND might incur), and outline alternate methods to evaluate your student for course placement.
Saturday, November 1st, 2014
Make up Date:
Saturday, November 8th, 2014**
Placement Test Location:
Peoria Notre Dame High School
5105 North Sheridan Road
Peoria, Illinois 61614
Please arrive no later than 7:45. The test will begin promptly at 8:00 am and lasts until 12:00pm.
As a part of the ACT test preparation program at Peoria Notre Dame High School, the ASPIRE test is the preferred placement test used at PND. The purpose of the test is to serve as a better means of placing students in freshman courses so that they will be successful yet still challenged in our college preparatory curriculum. Although the ASPIRE is not required for acceptance to Peoria Notre Dame High School, taking the ASPIRE test does provide a more accurate account of what courses students will be placed in during their four years at Peoria Notre Dame. If you have any questions regarding the ASPIRE, please contact the Director of Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org or (309) 691.8741.
**If you are unable to attend the November 1st test date (illness, out of town, family emergency, etc), you will still need to register for the test by the September 11th deadline, and notify Aaron Cunningham (email@example.com) that you will be taking the make up test on November 8th, 2014 at your earliest convenience.
