Counseling

Parents and senior students, please join the PND counseling staff on October 4th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the PND library for a FAFSA application assistance night. Please bring a computer. The computer does not have to be your child’s computer. We will provide a password to access the internet. Attendance for students is optional. To complete the FAFSA you will need the items listed below:
  1. Social Security Number

  2. Alien Registration Number (if not a US citizen)

  3. Records of Income: 2017 Federal Income Tax Return (1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ), W-22’s, or other records of income earned from work,business, child support paid or received, and any other untaxed income.

  4. Information about Assets: Savings, Certificates of Deposits, stock options, bonds, 529 plans and other college savings programs, and investment real estate, business, and farms.

  5. An FSA ID to sign electronically (it takes 3-5 days to receive a number after applying)

October 10, 2018- PSAT for Juniors Students- at Peoria Notre Dame during the regular school day

College Night at Illinois Central College: Parents and students, grades 9-12, are invited to attend Illinois Central College’s College Night On October 17, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Over 60 colleges and universities will be present to share information, materials, and answer your questions.

Senior students, faculty, and staff, are encouraged to participate in College Changes Everything Day by wearing your chosen college or alma mater college/university t-shirt or sweatshirt (students must wear uniform pants and shoes) on October 17, 2018. A FAFSA representative will be present in the commons 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. to answer your FAFSA questions.
