Friday May 2nd, there is All-School Mass and May Crowning.

From the President

A blessed Easter to all our parents and families as we celebrate the Octave of Easter! As a Church we will continue to celebrate this season of the Lord’s resurrection for the next six weeks. What a joy it is to know new and resurrected life that Jesus promises to each of us. As a community of faith, I hope you witnessed that in your parish and now share it with your family and loved ones.

Recently, I was able to attend the National Catholic Education Association Conference in Pittsburg. After attending many of the sessions I realized how many great things we already have going on at PND. We are very much in line with best practices, with technology use, academics, and most importantly Catholic identity. Our goal with our new Strategic Plan is to make sure that all of these areas of growth are being implemented and measured. Thanks for your trust and belief in the mission of Catholic education, especially at Peoria Notre Dame. As we continue the Church’s mission in the Diocese of Peoria, I am confident about the spiritual, academic, technological and co-curricular growth that we are about at PND.

From the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians:
A big weekend for our students with Prom on Saturday, April 26th from 6 until 10:30 p.m. Parents, please note, that Notre Dame does not recognize or approve of a senior gyp day. We ask you help us by encouraging your son/daughter to attend school until the completion of the school year. We appreciate your support and pray of the safety of all our students attending Prom this weekend.

Parents should have received a registration confirmation letter listing their student’s course choices for next year. If the letter is not returned by April 29, and you have class changes for your student, you will be charged $40 for schedule changes after that date. This information is critical for the school’s master schedule and teacher assignments for the 2014/2015 school year. Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank-You and God Bless.
