Honoring Our Past: Building Our Future Campaign

Plans are being finalized to begin work on some field work with roadway and parking this late spring/early

summer. We have $400,000 now in cash and need another $300,000 in cash to begin. If you are interested,

now is the time to join us as we move forward with our campaign, Honoring Our Past: Building Our Future.

Upcoming Events:

Lenten Confessions

April 1-4 and April 8-10 during Advisory. We will have the pastors and priests of the area helping us at PND with Lenten Confessions. It is a great opportunity for our young people to live the words of Ash Wednesday, “Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.” Pope Francis recently said this about the Sacrament of Reconciliation, “Confession is an experience of love and mercy, not a sentencing court.” We truly believe and live it in this powerful Sacrament of Grace.

Sophomore Girls Day of Reflection

Monday, April 7 from 9:15am to 3:15pm. For their annual day of recollection, the PND sophomore girls will be meeting up with other sophomore girls from around the diocese to have a day focused on vocations- both to the religious life and to marriage. All girls must be in the PND auditorium on Monday, April 7 by 9:15am. Students will be bussed to the Spalding Center downtown and return to PND by 3:15pm. All parents of sophomore girls need to complete the pink permission form by Tuesday, April 2.

Cheerleading Tryouts

Thursday, April 10 beginning at 5:00 pm. Practice times will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, April 7-9 in the gym. If you have questions, please contact Suzie Babovac and Mollie Jockisch.

PND Bunny Breakfast

Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 – 11:00 am in the School Commons. Parents and children (pre-kindergarten through third grade) are invited to enjoy Easter doughnuts, cereal, coffee, juice, milk and tons of Easter Bunny Fun! Come join us for a visit with the Easter Bunny plus extra Easter surprises!

PND Vocation Day

Wednesday, April 16 at PND. Our annual PND Vocation Day will take place during the day on April 16. Several religious communities and six seminarians from the Peoria Diocese will be visiting theology classes throughout the day to speak on discerning God’s will. The day will end with an all-school Assembly with Stations of the Cross in the gym.

Easter Break

School will be closed in observance of Good Friday (April 18) and Easter Monday (April 21).
