From the Chaplain’s Office
Peoria Notre Dame is proud to be a diocesan high school under the guidance of the Bishop of Peoria.
Why is Peoria Notre Dame here? One big reason – so our students can grow closer to Christ as they learn the arts and skills needed to be successful adults.
PND students have Mass available to them every day in our Chapel at 7:15 am. Students gather for all-school Masses at least once a month, and they have the opportunity to attend Eucharistic Adoration and receive the sacrament of Reconciliation once a week.
PND students also grow in their faith through their eight semesters of religion and the daily prayer that begins every day, every class, and every activity.
At Peoria Notre Dame, we openly share our faith with one another. As one student put it, “I love Notre Dame. I take pride in praying with my friends and in going to school where we are always aware of being children of God.”
In, addition, Father Ryan Bredemeyer serves PND as the school’s chaplain and Father Tom Horton assists. Each year, students attend a by class religious on day retreat.
