The Peoria Notre Dame Cheerleaders perform regularly at home and away football and basketball games. They are also invited to other special functions from time to time.

Tryouts are held annually; every member must try out each year. Places are available on several squads ranging from Freshmen to varsity. Selection and retention are based on criteria established and described in the group's Constitution and by-laws.
